In 1816, Slave Registers were set up by district[7], and we find that "Johannes, Isaac's son" had registered slaves, nine of which went to his widow, "Anna Catharina de Vos", in October 1834. These are listed in the Slave Registry of Stellenbosch District, Ledger, in Folio 322[8]:
9 slaves
These slaves were never sold, and kept until abolition in 1834(38).
